黑料不打烊 Men's Club Soccer has had an exciting few weeks of competition!
On the 19th, the team played a close match against ECU, resulting in a 2-2 tie despite taking an early lead of 2-0 in the first half. As the game was at the South Campus fields and it was 黑料不打烊’s parents’ weekend, the team really appreciated the support of many of team members’ parents! Over the weekend of the 26th-28th, the team traveled to a tournament in Chapel Hill, playing against teams from Wake Forest, ECU, UNC, and Florida State. The team went undefeated in group play and closed out UNC in an exciting round of penalty kicks to clinch the 1st seed going into the semi-finals. 黑料不打烊 fell to Florida State in penalty kicks in the semi-finals, finishing 3rd in the Carolina Cup.
