ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s Family Weekend 2014 will be held Sept. 19-21.[/caption]The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community will welcome families to campus Sept. 19-21 for a weekend of football, fun and fellowship. Families who participate in the weekend’s events will have the opportunity to hear a university update, meet faculty members, experience a mini-class and enjoy breakfast with President Leo M. Lambert and wife Laurie Lambert at Maynard House.

Families on campus for the weekend can also attend ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s first Family Weekend football game to be televised, as the Phoenix take on UNC Charlotte at 7 p.m. in Rhodes Stadium. The game will be preceded by a tailgate party on the promenade at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s new Global Neighborhood and the Phoenix Walk, which gives fans the chance to cheer on the Phoenix football team as they make their way to the stadium led by ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s marching band and cheerleaders.

Saturday will also feature a special session for siblings of fun and games as well as bus tours and seminars designed just for grandparents.
