Caregiving can be one of the most rewarding and important things that a person can do. Caregiving is a demanding, often stressful and sometimes exhausting task. Many caregivers give out physically and become frustrated in the process of helping a loved one. The key is taking care of oneself while taking care of another.
Sandra Gant-Satterfield, MSW, and Jan Rudisill of the Hospice & Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell will share with the group advice, tips and strategies on keeping oneself healthy and thus better able to provide care for their loved one in need. .
