‘From a Grove of Oaks’ book signing event – May 23

University Historian and Professor Emeritus of History George W. Troxler will be available to sign copies of his latest book, , on Friday, May 23 from 2-5 p.m. at Barnes & Noble at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, the campus bookstore on Williamson Avenue.

Published as part of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s 125th anniversary commemoration, From A Grove of Oaks is the first detailed study of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s history in more than 30 years, documenting the institution’s origins and development through the first half of the 20th century. The richly illustrated book also provides a thorough record of the dramatic growth during the administrations of presidents J. Earl Danieley, J. Fred Young and Leo M. Lambert.
