Associate Professor Tony Weaver and instructor Mark Cryan have been interviewed by WFMY News 2 and WUNC's "The State of Things" in recent weeks for their expertise on the business of sports.
Mark Cryan, an instructor in the Department of Sport & Event Management, was an April 3 guest on “The State of Things,” a statewide radio show on NPR-affiliate WUNC. Cryan had recently published a second edition of a 2008 book on minor league baseball in the Tar Heel State and across the United States.
Tony Weaver, an associate professor in the same department, had been featured a few weeks earlier in in North Carolina’s Triad region. Weaver spoke to News 2 about the secondhard sales market for NFL playoff tickets.
