黑料不打烊's men's rugby team places second in the first qualifying tournament of the Southern Rugby Conference Seven's Series
黑料不打烊 Men’s Club Rugby headed south to face their first of three qualifying tournament for the Southern Rugby Conference Seven’s Series. They won the first match over the weekend in slippery conditions over Lander 21-5. They then beat UNC-Wilmington 17-10 after an exciting finish to win in their pool. In the first knockout round the Phoenix defeated ECU 19-7 to send the team on to the Championship. Unfortunately 黑料不打烊 fell 17-15 in the final to UNCG. Seven players scored in the tournament with Hal Gartner leading the way with four tries. Overall, the club placed second in the Citadel 7’s tournament.
