Founders Day trivia question for March 14

As ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ celebrates the 125th anniversary of its founding, a weeklong contest testing knowledge of university history concludes today with a chance for students, faculty and staff to win prizes.

In honor of Founders Day 2014, which on March 11 marked ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s quasquicentennial, each day this week a new trivia question will be posted on E-Net before 10 a.m. with prizes that include gift cards to restaurants and other local food establishments.

FRIDAY’S QUESTION:

Who was the only first round NFL draft pick from ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ?

All ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students, faculty and staff are welcome to submit one answer to eheiser@elon.edu, and at the end of each day, all correct answers will be pooled and a winner chosen at random. Answers may be submitted until 6 p.m.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ established Founders Day to honor significant figures from its history and to commemorate the lives of administrators, faculty and trustees who impacted the growth of the institution.
