Club Tennis is headed to Surprise, Ariz., in April for a national tournament.
黑料不打烊 had two teams (A & B) compete in February in the USTA Southern Sectional Championships in Auburn, Ala. 黑料不打烊 went undefeated until the championship match against UNC. Christian Smoke and Will Hemminger beat the UNC men’s doubles team in a tiebreak, Chandler McCray beat his singles opponent 6-2 and Ian MacInnes and Kate Sims came back from a 1-4 deficit to win 6-4 and force overtime. Unfortunately, they came two games short of winning it all, but were still able to receive a bid to the National Championship in Arizona!
Even though the B team struggled a little bit throughout the tournament they ended the weekend with back-to-back wins.
