���ϲ����� Law Professor Steve Friedland, who was featured as one of the nation’s 26 best law teachers in a recent book, shares insights about effective teaching in the December 4 edition of North Carolina Lawyers Weekly.

Students worked all semester, in and outside the classroom, to provide valuable services and products for the organization.

Nearly two out of three respondents in the latest ���ϲ����� Poll are unaware that North Carolina laws exist to make many state government records open to inspection by residents.

An ���ϲ����� Poll shows that only 30.5 percent of respondents were aware that the state has laws making government records and meetings public. A significant number (41.4 percent) also view the state as being less transparent now than it was five years ago. The poll also asked about how much public records should cost and whether certain records should be public. 

Students, educators and “It Takes a Village” Project stakeholders from three universities meet to discuss ways to improve literacy for struggling readers.
