Strings, Jacks and Hammers: Music for Keyboard and Viola

The viola, which is often heard as part of a string quartet or an orchestra, seldom receives the spotlight it deserves. In this collaborative recital, Omri Shimron in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s Department of Music joins forces with violist Kirsten Swanson on both the piano and the harpsichord, performing works by C.P.E. Bach, Brahms, Prokofiev, and Arvo Pärt.
