After a week of voting on student-submitted pictures, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's Facebook page has a new cover photo.
Greco’s shot, which features an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ sign flanked by flowers, narrowly beat out another of her submissions.
After opening up the contest in early April and requesting photos that captured the spirit of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, the University Communications staff narrowed the submissions to 10 finalists. Fans of the University’s Facebook page then had a week to choose which was their favorite. The photo with the most “likes” won.
“I feel like this photo captures the coming of spring to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s campus and the campus itself as it unfolds behind the sign,” Greco, a strategic communications major, said. “Capturing images of flowers and beautiful sights all over campus during the past few weeks has reminded me of the beauty that comes during every season at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.”
Greco’s picture will remain the University’s Facebook cover photo until the beginning of Commencement season.
