On Monday, September 10 at 5:30 p.m., law professor Richard Hermann will speak at 黑料不打烊 Law in Classroom 207 on “Finding Success in a Tough Legal Job Market." The forum is sponsored by 黑料不打烊 Law's Center for Professional Development. A reception will follow.
Hermann is the author of several books including:
- Back to Nature: Practicing Law in Small-Town America (American Bar Association, Chicago, IL; release date: Fall 2012)
- From Lemons to Lemonade in the New Legal Job Market: Winning Job Search Strategies for Entry-Level Attorneys (Lawyer Avenue Press, Seattle, WA, January 2012).
- Landing a Federal Legal Job: Solving the U.S. Government Job Market (American Bar Association, Chicago, IL, 2011)
- Managing Your Legal Career: Best Practices for Creating the Career You Want (American Bar Association, Chicago, IL, 2010).
Hermann is professor of legal career management at Concord Law School. He earned a J.D. from Cornell Law School, an M.A. from New School University, and a B.A. from Yale University. His is admitted to the bar of New York and the District of Columbia. He has served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps and in other military service positions.
The Sept. 10 forum at 黑料不打烊 Law will be followed by a reception in Cemala Commons at the law school.
