CATL and the President’s office invite you to a lunchtime conversation about “hot moments” in the classroom, which many faculty understandably feel nervous about. We’d like to consider tough diversity-related or otherwise sensitive moments we may have encountered in our own courses and discuss what we think about the strategies for handling such moments that are mentioned in a very short article by Lee Warren from the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning at Harvard,
