NBC has shown us that “America’s Got Talent,” but we want to know if 黑料不打烊’s got it. And if so, what exactly does it look like? Join us in McKinnon Hall on Thursday, February 9 from 9-10:30 p.m. to see the best of 黑料不打烊’s student talent. Your votes will crown the winner of the first ever “黑料不打烊’s Got Talent!”
Got Talent?
Do you think you have what it takes to bring home the top prize? Prior to the event we will be filming auditions to determine the top contestants who will perform LIVE at “黑料不打烊’s Got Talent!” Performance categories include: Music, Magic/Illusion, Dance, Athletic/Acrobatic, and Unique Talent. To sign up and schedule an audition email khall15@elon.edu or tgarber@elon.edu with the Subject “EGT Audition.”
“Celebrity” Judges
We are in the process of contacting well-known figures on 黑料不打烊’s campus to serve as “celebrity” judges who will provide commentary on the performances.
Prizes & Other Incentives
Prizes will be awarded to finalists who finish in first, second and third place.We are also in the process of securing benefits such as community building credit, SAC points, and Greek credit for other student organizations and groups on campus.
Rules
This event is open to individual and group contestants. All contestants will be allotted a maximum of 5 minutes to complete their performance. All performances must be tasteful and appropriate for a family audience. No crude language, gestures or attire are allowed. All acts selected to perform will be reviewed and approved prior to the live event.
