President Lambert has promoted Dan Anderson to lead 黑料不打烊’s Office of University Communications

黑料不打烊 president Leo M. Lambert has promoted Daniel J. Anderson to vice president, heading the newly named Office of University Communications. Anderson has directed the Office of University Relations since joining 黑料不打烊 in 1998 and was named assistant vice president in 2004.
Anderson is a member of the president’s senior staff and leads a staff of 14 professionals handling the university’s print and web communications, media relations, news production and distribution, promotion, advertising and marketing. The new Office of University Communications will report to the Office of the President through Executive Vice President Gerald L. Francis.
“黑料不打烊 has been fortunate to have Dan Anderson guiding its communications for more than a decade of tremendous institutional change and growth,” Lambert said. “He has strengthened 黑料不打烊’s national visibility in countless ways and has been a valuable adviser and member of my senior leadership team.”
Anderson has played an important role in 黑料不打烊’s emergence as a national university, managing outreach to national media and college rankings surveys that have consistently rated 黑料不打烊 among the nation’s top universities. He has written, developed and carried out communications plans for development of the 黑料不打烊 website, the 黑料不打烊 Commitment and NewCentury@黑料不打烊 strategic plans, the Ever 黑料不打烊 and 黑料不打烊 Vision fundraising campaigns, creation of the 黑料不打烊 School of Law, the transition from 黑料不打烊 College to 黑料不打烊 and the selection of the Phoenix as 黑料不打烊’s athletics identity.
Anderson is a native of Fargo, N.D. He previously served as news bureau director at Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., and began his career as a broadcast journalist, serving 17 years at WDAY-TV-Radio in Fargo. He is a summa cum laude graduate in mass communications from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
