Faculty participate in summer Moodle training

The summer of 2011 was a busy time for faculty as they embarked upon learning a new learning management system, Moodle.

Teaching and Learning Technologies staff Cheri Crabb, Roger Gant, and Ben McFadyen along with faculty Randy Piland and Steve Folger, collaborated with ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ faculty to build a course in Moodle. Over 125 faculty attended the summer sessions between June and August.

During the day long workshop, faculty were exposed to Moodle’s interface and developed a course for fall semester. Many faculty enjoyed working in Moodle finding it was easier to create a course and place content appropriately since the entire course map was on the first page, easily visible by scrolling down.
