Former Phoenix wide receiver Sean Jeffcoat '11 will continue his football career with the NFL's Arizona Cardinals, signing an undrafted free agent contract with the team.

"Valued Voices," a play written by Jean Rattigan-Rohr, associate professor in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's School of Education, will be featured in The Reader’s Theatre of New Works section of the 2011 National Black Theater Festival. The performance will be at 10 a.m., Aug. 2nd, in the Gaines Ballroom I – Embassy Suites Hotel, Winston Salem, N.C.

Interactive Media graduate Bradley Mu G’11 recently placed third in a contest sponsored by the University of California-Berkeley School of Journalism that asked participants to redesign and improve the nutritional food label. His entry, along with the first and second place winners, was featured in the Well blog on the New York Times website.

In her Media Writing class a couple of semester ago, rising senior Katie O’Brien wrote a mini biography that discussed, among other things, her career aspirations. If someone could be both profoundly certain and surprisingly unsure of her future at the same time, it was O’Brien.

A new undergraduate exchange program created this month between ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey, will allow students to study abroad in a part of the world steeped with culture, history and art at a time when academic interest in the Middle East is blossoming.
