ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law professor Howard Katz was featured in the most recent publication of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. For the 2011 special report, Katz published, "Negotiation as a Fundamental Skill."

Thomas Erdmann, professor of music, was asked to part of the 2012 International Trumpet Guild Recording Project.

Gary Palin, executive director of the Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and senior lecturer of entrepreneurship in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, was a featured webcast speaker July 22 at the Higher School of Economics Business Incubator "StartUpNetwork" workshop in Moscow, Russia.

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in Los Angeles program entered its fourth summer when the program began in early June. This year, 39 students traveled west to live, take classes and do internships in the entertainment capital of the world. Students from several different majors are interning at various locations throughout the city.

Senior ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Communications student Philip Kimbrough directed the winning film in the 2011 Sprite Refreshing Films contest. His work was shown at the Los Angeles Film Festival earlier this summer.
