Small Business Consultant Training Session – Nov. 16

The 黑料不打烊 Microfinance Initiative is hosting a Small Business Consultant Training Session on Tuesday, November 16, 5-6 pm in KOBC Room 244. This session is open to students in all majors. The director of the Small Business Center in Graham will discuss how to effectively provide support to local small business, particularly through microfinance and educational tools.

The North Carolina Alliance for Athletics, Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Annual Conference was held in Winston-Salem, N.C., Nov. 10-13. Students Megan Deutschle, Morgan Bailey, Michelle Pullen, Ned Cuthbertson, Chris Harris and Stephen Rusterholz co-presented a session about dance pedagogy with Carol Smith, associate professor in the department of Health & Human Performance.

S.M.A.R.T. Night Teaches Smart Interviewing

The Students Mentoring Rising Talent (S.M.A.R.T.) Mentoring Program hosted its first S.M.A.R.T. Night on Friday, November 12. The event, “Career and Professional Development,” was co-sponsored by Multicultural Affairs and Career Services.
