Earl Honeycutt, professor of Marketing and director of the Chandler Family Professional Sales Center, received the Best Paper of the Year for 2010 from Marketing Education Review for the article "The Three Dichotomies of Marketing." Honeycutt received the award at a luncheon during the Society of Marketing Advances 2010 Conference, held November 3-6 in Atlanta.

Dr. John Coleman, chief scientific advisor of Algenol Biofuels Inc., will deliver a Voices of Discovery lecture at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 8, in McCrary Theatre. Coleman will discuss America's energy future and ways to produce ethanol from algae.

Amanda Ketner, a senior mathematics major, won the Outstanding Mathematics Education Student Award for the Central Region at the 40th annual conference of the North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics held Oct. 28-29 in Greensboro, N.C.
