Environmental Studies introduces new major and minor

The Department of Environmental Studies has created an additional major, and a new minor, for ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students with an academic or career interest in the fields of sustainability, wildlife ecology and conservation.

Imploring students to follow “their heart’s desire” when deciding how to best advance their communities and country in the years ahead, venture capitalist and former NASA astronaut Dr. Bernard A. Harris Jr. shared stories from his career Wednesday in a ceremony to honor him as the second recipient of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Medal for Entrepreneurial Leadership.

Admissions Open House at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law – Oct. 29

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ School of Law will host an Admissions Open House on Friday, October 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. This event will give prospective students the opportunity to meet ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ law students, faculty, and staff; attend a mock law class; learn more about the unique characteristics of an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law education; tour the facilities; and obtain information about our admissions process and financial aid.

LSB Students Named Finalists at World Collegiate Sales Competition

Love School of Business students Gregory "Carl" Hairston and Tyler Reynolds have been named as finalists for the World Collegiate Sales Competition, to be held November 11-13 at Northern Illinois University. Only 16 students nationwide were selected as finalists. Students Priscilla Abad and Lindsay Richardson were named semifinalists for the upcoming competition.
