The Pendulum, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's weekly student newspaper, and Colonnades, the university's literary magazine, were named 2010 finalists in the Associated Collegiate Press Newspaper and Magazine Pacemaker competitions Sept. 2. The Pacemaker is the highest honor ACP gives to its members.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ associate professor Bird Stasz has received a Fulbright Senior Specialist Award and will travel to Tajikistan this fall to work with colleagues there in the Ministry of Education to help modernize the nation’s teacher education programs.
