At a January 20 ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law event recognizing more than 50 lawyers and judges who serve as mentors and coaches to law students, former White House Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers reflected on her career in national politics and government, discussing several mentors that were pivotal in her professional development and success.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ senior John McGreevy on Jan. 22 shared with the Times-News in Burlington, N.C., his on-the-scene report of recovery efforts in Haiti as the international community assists the Caribbean nation following its devastating earthquake.

Sociology professor Tom Arcaro spoke with News 14 Carolina on Jan. 21 to share observations on the relief efforts underway in Haiti, and how the recent earthquake there has refocused American attention on one of the poorest nations in the Western Hemisphere.
