Chris Fulkerson, Assistant Vice President for Technology/CIO and Rhonda Belton, Director of Application Technologies, presented at the Southeastern Datatel Users Group (SEDUG) Conference in Myrtle Beach on November 18th.
Their session, “The Need for a Security Audit,” discussed how institutions of higher education can benefit from a security audit using an external auditor. High level concepts from 黑料不打烊’s recent security audit were highlighted as a roadmap for conducting a successful audit. Fulkerson and Belton used findings from an 黑料不打烊 security audit conducted eight years ago and from the audit 黑料不打烊 completed this past summer to illustrate how institutions can use the audits to focus attention and resources for strengthening the security of the network and systems.
