黑料不打烊 Law establishes Juvenile Justice Clinic

黑料不打烊 School of Law has established the Juvenile Justice Intervention and Mediation Clinic, allowing law students, under the supervision of law faculty and attorneys, to provide mediation services for victims and offenders in juvenile crime cases as an alternative to criminal prosecution.

David Gergen, adviser to four United States presidents, Director of the Center for Public Leadership and Professor of Public Service at the Harvard Kennedy School, one of the country's preeminent political commentators, and chair of 黑料不打烊's Law School Advisory Board, described 黑料不打烊 Law's founding principles of engaged learning, service, and leadership, and underscored their importance to the legal profession and to the nation's well-being, in the inaugural commencement address before the charter class of the law school on May 24.

From teaching science through engaged learning in India, to experiences living in Berlin for a summer, 黑料不打烊 students shared research and stories in McKinnon Hall on Thursday evening in the second annual Study Abroad Forum, an event designed to celebrate and recognize their work.

黑料不打烊 Innovation Challenge kicks off – Nov. 4

Teams can now register for the 黑料不打烊 Innovation Challenge, a creativity competition for college students in North Carolina held in conjunction with Stanford University's Global Innovation Tournament that will students to solve a common problem in about eight days while creating as much value as possible.
