The second annual ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Study Abroad Forum takes place Thursday afternoon, with faculty and students scheduled to share their research and showcase achievements from their experiences in foreign nations. A program for the Oct. 29 event is now available online.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ graduate Trey Bailey '02 and his wife Marci were guest speakers in a Marketing Princples class taught by Dr. Michael Rodriguez. Trey, an LSB alum, is the owner of Bailey's Fine Jewelry.

Eden Avraham-Katz, a sophomore from Greensboro, N.C., has received a 2009-2010 Grinspoon Israel Advocacy Internship, making ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ one of 35 campuses nationwide to host a paid intern who will help coordinate pro-Israel programs in the coming year.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Hillel and its director, Nancy Luberoff, have been selected to take part in the Small and Mighty Campuses of Excellence II, an initiative sponsored by Hillel international to enhance experiences for Jewish students on smaller campuses.

Glenda Crawford, professor of education, and April Post, lecturer in foreign languages, presented a paper at the 9th International Research Conference on Service-Learning and Community Engagement, which was held Oct. 9-12, 2009, in Ottawa, Canada.
