Phoenix14News, ���ϲ�����'s weekly student newscast, was named the best student newscast in North and South Carolina Saturday at the Radio-Television News Directors Association of the Carolinas annual awards luncheon. It's the first time Phoenix14News has been recognized with the award, and it comes on the heels of the show's recognition as best newscast in the nation by the Broadcast Education Association in April.

���ϲ����� School of Law has opened a Clinical Law Center to support legal services provided by law school students. The center will provide a facility for students, under the supervision of law faculty and attorneys, to work with clients referred by nonprofit organizations and government agencies in the greater-Greensboro region.

Fall break for ���ϲ����� Law begins Saturday, October 17, 2009, through Tuesday, October 20, 2009.

A number of ���ϲ����� Law graduates have expressed appreciation for "Project Pass," a unique program of ���ϲ����� designed to support law students as they prepared for the bar exam this summer.

Members of the faculty at ���ϲ����� School of Law said they were proud to be part of a university that will soon shelter a chapter of The Phi Beta Kappa Society, the nation's oldest and most prestigious academic society. The Society voted on Oct. 2 to establish a new chapter at ���ϲ�����.
