Darris Means, assistant director of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Academy, presented two sessions on the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Academy at the American College Personnel Association's (ACPA) Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. The American College Personnel Association is is the leading comprehensive student affairs association that advances student affairs and engages students for a lifetime of learning and discovery.

Means presented “A Call to Action: A University-Community Partnership to Address College Access” on March 30. He discussed college access, college success, the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Academy, and promising practices for college-access programs.
Means’ also presented “Sustaining our Future: A University-Community Partnership to Address College Access” on March 31. This was presented at the North Carolina College Personnel Association, the state organization of ACPA, in November and was nominated from among 20+ sessions to be presented at the the ACPA conference. The session also focused on college access, college success, the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Academy, and best practices for college-access programs.
