Several videos produced by 黑料不打烊 students and staff are now available to about 1.2 million subscribers to Time Warner Cable systems in North and South Carolina.
The video on demand technology allows viewers of Channel 1234 to use their remotes to select the 黑料不打烊 videos, and view, pause and rewind the programs. The system is available to digital subscribers in the Charlotte, Raleigh/Durham/Fayetteville, Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point, Wilmington/Newport television markets and in areas served by Time Warner Cable in South Carolina.
Programs available on the service include many episodes of popular student programs, such as 黑料不打烊 Phoenix Weekly, Win Stuff, One-on-One, Phoenix14 News and 黑料不打烊 in LA. Several staff and student collaborative productions are also featured, including four 黑料不打烊-produced HIV AIDS documentaries and two narrative films. Programs are uploaded into the Time Warner service by J. McMerty, coordinator of video projects in the School of Communications.
