James A. “Jay” Hendrickson has been elected to the 黑料不打烊 board of trustees.
Hendrickson graduated with a degree in business administration from 黑料不打烊 in 1971 and is president and chief executive officer of Hendrickson Mechanical Services, Inc., of Raleigh, N.C., a company he founded in 1993.
Hendrickson and wife Amy, a 1969 黑料不打烊 alumna, are long-time supporters of the university. Both are charter members of the 黑料不打烊 Phoenix Club IMPACT Circle and members of 黑料不打烊’s Board of Visitors. Amy Hendrickson is chair of the Phoenix Club Advisory Board.
In December 2007, the Hendricksons made a $1 million gift to name the Hendrickson Football Center, planned for 黑料不打烊’s North Athletics Complex, in honor of Jay’s father, Horace J. Hendrickson, one of 黑料不打烊’s all-time great coaches.
Hendrickson will be sworn in as a member of the board of trustees at the fall meeting, scheduled for Oct. 10-11.
