Gift from parents Jim and Wendy Hilboldt supports need-based study abroad scholarships

Parents Jim and Wendy Hilboldt of New Canaan, Conn., are making a $25,000 gift to establish The Hilboldt Family International Study Endowment, which will fund need-based study abroad scholarships for students participating in any of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s international programs. The awards will be given as one-time stipends to fund airfare, housing or related expenses for students who could not otherwise afford to study abroad.
 
The couple have been generous donors to the Parents Fund over the years and are enthusiastic ambassadors of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in their community. They say they are very pleased with the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ experiences of their daughters, Emily ’06 and Molly, who is an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ junior. Jim is an attorney with Pfizer Inc. in New York City and serves on the board of advisors of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. Wendy is a member of the New Canaan Volunteer Ambulance Corps and heads the New Canaan Food Pantry.
