Dr. Maureen Vandermaas-Peeler will serve as the next Director of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Honors Program, beginning with the 2008-09 academic year. Dr. Vandermaas-Peeler came to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in 1995 from the University of the South. She received her BA from Wake Forest University and her MS and PhD degrees from North Carolina State University. Dr. Vandermaas-Peeler has been actively engaged with the Honors Program for many years. She has taught honors courses, most recently the freshman seminar “Childhood and Cultural Context.” She has mentored a number of honors students and has served on the Honors Advisory Board.
