Approximately 15 attorneys who will serve as mentors, or preceptors, to 黑料不打烊 Law students, were on hand Monday evening, Aug. 13 for a special training and workshop session held at the law school. They are the latest to join the preceptor program at 黑料不打烊 Law. Preceptors are practicing judges and attorneys who serve as mentors and coaches to 黑料不打烊 Law students, providing constructive feedback and professional advice.
The session was led by Ralph James, a consultant to the construction industry with FMI management, and Jerry Macdaid, a consultant and former CEO of the Center for Applications of Psychological Type (CAPT). Participants used the same personality-type assessment tools as 黑料不打烊 Law students to learn more about themselves and how they can maximize their interactions with other people.
These new preceptors will return Aug. 20 for another training session with approximately 45 attorneys who served as preceptors last year.
