This year’s program included an 黑料不打烊 version of “American Idol,” which invited staff members to compete for the title of “黑料不打烊 Idol.” Vocalists auditioned for the competition over the past several weeks, and the five finalists who competed during staff day were Jerry Williams, systems administrator; Beth De Ford, program assistant for psychology, human services and religious studies; Robin Riggins, coordinator of the admissions welcome center; Monica Hadley, custodian; and Marianne Janssen, director of clinical education for the department of physical therapy.
Judges for the competition were Michael Williams, director of campus center operations and conferences; Sarah Thomas, assistant director of admissions; and Fred Melchor, director of technology support.
Following outstanding performances by each of the contestants, Riggins was declared winner of the competition.
