Maurice Levesque, Professor of Psychology, and Gregory Haenel, Associate Professor of Biology presented on their interdisciplinary team-taught Evolutionary Psychology course at the APS Teaching Institute. The presentation included information on the development, goals, and discovery-based structure of the course as well as the challenges of team-teaching an interdisciplinary course.
Levesque also presented research titled “Male Body Image Dissatisfaction, Psychological Health, and Masculinity” at the regular APS conference. The research, which was conducted with former ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students Adrienne Helmick, Christopher Woods, and Megan Simmons, examined the links between male body dissatisfaction, adherence to negative masculine norms, and high risk alcohol behavior.
