The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students are featured in a special weekly section of the site called Students in Action. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s 2007 class of Periclean Scholars has been working to fight malnutrition in Honduras. Under the direction of faculty mentor Jim Brown, the group raised $6,400 for construction of a new kitchen at a pediatric hospital in Honduras.
The PBS page includes a video postcard and slideshow about the problem of malnutrition, journal entries from ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students Emily Aker, Jennifer De Simone and Kelly Lawrence, and link to the Project Pericles Web site and links to other Web sites devoted to the relief of malnutrition.
