Russ Gill, Steve Anderson, Kathleen Edwards and Jeff Stein presented “From the Ideal to the Possible: Creating Learning Communities at 黑料不打烊” on Monday, Oct. 16 at the 9th Annual Living-Learning Communities and Residential Colleges Conference held at Syracuse University.
The session, based on 4 guiding principles used in developing 黑料不打烊’s Learning Communities, included examination of 黑料不打烊’s upcoming residence halls behind Koury Business Center, the new LC Faculty Handbook, 黑料不打烊’s LC Syllabi and Learning Outcomes, and the work being done by 黑料不打烊’s current Learning Communities.
Gill serves as Learning Communities Faculty Fellow and Distinguished University Professor of English; Anderson as associate director of residence life for residential education; Edwards as assistant director of the Kernodle Center for service learning and advisor for the Service Learning Community; and Stein as assistant dean of students for residence life and service learning.
