The inaugural exhibition in the new ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ West Gallery and Isabella Cannon Room will be unveiled during an opening reception from 5-7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 11 at the recently renovated ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ West building. The exhibition will include recent work in a variety of media by members of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Art Department. The department relocated this summer to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ West, at 406 W. Haggard Avenue in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, from its previous home in the Center for the Arts.
ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ West includes classrooms, a ceramics studio, a painting studio, a digital art studio and photo lab. The building’s two computer labs are equipped with the latest audio and video technology. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ West also includes storage for library collections as well as music faculty offices.
The exhibition of faculty work, which is free and open to the public, will run through Oct. 5.
