Jerry Tolley, director of annual giving and the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Society, has been elected board chairman of the Alamance Foundation. Tolley succeeds Dr. James B. Powell, who chairs the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Board of Trustees.
Tolley is a founding director of the Alamance Foundation, which was established in 1991. The foundation’s mission is to build a permanent endowment to meet current and future needs in the Alamance County community, encouraging charitable giving by local citizens.
In addition to his work at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, Tolley is serving his third term as mayor of the Town of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. He also serves on the boards of the Thomas E. Powell, Jr. Biology Foundation, Cherokee Council of the Boy Scouts of America and BeActive North Carolina.
