On April 28, L. D. Russell presented his ongoing research on the relationship of religion and stock car racing at a meeting of the Southern Historians of the Piedmont, which includes scholars from ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, High Point University, Pfeiffer University, UNC Greensboro, UNC Chapel Hill, and Wake Forest University, who share an interest in research and scholarship on all aspects of the American South.
