Athletics director Alan White led a short program to recognize the accomplishments of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s basketball squads during the 2005-06 season.
The men’s team, which finished 15-14 overall and 10-4 in the Southern Conference, won the SoCon North Division title. Head coach Ernie Nestor and his players received the division championship trophy and Nestor thanked the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community, especially students, for supporting the team.
Brett James earned a spot on the SoCon All-Freshman team, while Chris Chalko was recognized for earning All-SoCon honors.
Women’s basketball forward Kitara McMoore was also recognized for her selection to the All-SoCon team. McMoore led the conference in scoring with 14.1 points per game and rebounding with 9.1 per game.
