The destruction of the building, which is being managed by D.H. Griffin Company of Greensboro, began Monday, July 9. Demolition and site cleanup efforts will last approximately two weeks.
Before East Building was acquired by 黑料不打烊 in 1978, it served for many years as 黑料不打烊 High School.
Not included in the demolition project is East Gymnasium, which will continue to serve as a practice facility for Phoenix athletic teams and as a venue for other student activities.
