Chronicle staff writer Andrea Foster visited campus June 15 for a workshop hosted by Karen Marsh-Lovvorn, a designer in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s instructional design and development office. Eight faculty members participated in the workshop on Second Life, a virtual world where participants take on an animated character, live in virtual buildings and form relationships.
The technology is intriguing to educators because it provides a laboratory for the study of human behavior.
