Alumus Ray Beck ’75, an avid user of eBay to hunt down and acquire historic ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ memorabilia, has acquired the 1915 edition of PhiPsiCli (vol. 3), and will soon be returning it to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s care. This is one of the few copies of the yearbook known to exist from that year. Other copies are believed to have been destroyed in the 1923 fire that leveled the main administration building. Beck has sent the book to the Etherington Conservation Center in Greensboro for stabilization and consolidation. It is missing just a few pages.
“I am very pleased to have secured this item and look forward to its safe return to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ,” Beck says. He will now continue to look for rare copies of Volumes I and II.
