Seven faculty members who teach in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ College, the College of Arts and Sciences, were recognized Thursday, April 21 with the college’s annual excellence awards. A selection committee chose the winners, who received a $500 monetary award. Excellence in Scholarship Award

During the program in Whitley Auditorium, David Runkel, a junior math-education major, music minor and North Carolina Teaching Fellow, and Sharon LaRocco, instructor of music and university accompanist, dazzled the audience with a saxophone-piano performance.
