Faculty from the Eastern Music Festival will present “The American Romantic,” a Steinway piano gala, at 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 29 in McCrary Theatre on the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ campus.
The concert will feature the music of Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin and Ned Rorem. Featured pianists James Giles, Yoshikazu Nagai, Gideon Rubin and Daniel Shapiro will perform in a variety of duos and configurations.
Tickets for the performance are $15 ($13 for seniors) in advance, or $17 ($15 for seniors) at the door. Tickets are free for those with valid ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ identification. The senior discount applies for those age 60 and older.
Advance tickets may be purchased by calling the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open from 12:30-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
