A bench adjacent to Holland House was dedicated Thursday, May 13 in memory of Cindy Sykes ’71, coordinator of gift records in institutional advancement, who died Nov. 5. She had worked at 黑料不打烊 for 27 years.
Chaplain Richard McBride offered opening remarks and several other members of the 黑料不打烊 community recalled their friendship with Cindy. Sykes’ husband, Randy, and her daughter, Angie, attended the ceremony.
Memorial benches are dedicated in honor of 黑料不打烊 employees who die during their term of service to the university.
