A bench adjacent to Holland House was dedicated Thursday, May 13 in memory of Cindy Sykes ’71, coordinator of gift records in institutional advancement, who died Nov. 5. She had worked at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ for 27 years.
Chaplain Richard McBride offered opening remarks and several other members of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community recalled their friendship with Cindy. Sykes’ husband, Randy, and her daughter, Angie, attended the ceremony.
Memorial benches are dedicated in honor of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ employees who die during their term of service to the university.
