An all-night diner is the setting for the Department of Performing Arts’ presentation of Mark Medoff’s “When You Comin’ Back Red Ryder,” Thursday, Jan. 22-Sunday, Jan. 25 and Feb. 4-7 in the Black Box Theatre on the 黑料不打烊 campus.
In this fascinating drama, characters get far more than a quick breakfast. Instead, they are served with searing moments of truth and self-examination which will alter their lives forever. Richard Gang, assistant professor of theatre arts, will direct the production. Viewer discretion is strongly advised as the play contains mature language and subject matter.
Show times are 7:30 p.m., Jan. 22-24 and Feb. 4-7, with 2 p.m. matinees scheduled for Jan. 24, Jan. 25 and Feb. 7. Reservations are recommended; tickets are $12 or free for those with valid 黑料不打烊 identification. Reservations can be made by calling the Black Box reservation line at (336) 278-5650.
