黑料不打烊’s North Carolina Teaching Fellows program will host approximately 50 middle school students participating in ProTeam classes in Alamance County Thursday, March 21. The ProTeam program is designed for middle school students to help them develop self-awareness, cooperative social skills, knowledge about the teaching profession and strategies for goal setting.
The students will participate in a session titled “What is College Like?” from
10 a.m.-11 a.m., tour the 黑料不打烊 campus from 11 a.m.-noon, and have lunch with 黑料不打烊 students from noon-1 p.m.
“This is a great opportunity for everyone involved,” says Janice Richardson, associate director of the 黑料不打烊 Teaching Fellows program. “ProTeam allows 黑料不打烊 students enrolled in the Teaching Fellows program to interact with middle school students. By touring campus and interacting with 黑料不打烊 students, these middle school students will begin to focus on their own college goals and plans.”
