Brief Biography

Dr. Eaves, an associate professor of Political Science, joined ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in 2013.  She received her B.A. in Political Science from Furman University in 2004 and then went on to the University of Georgia.  At UGA, she earned a Masters in Public Administration, followed by a Ph.D. in Political Science.  Broadly, her research focuses on U.S. political institutions such as Congress and the President, with a particular focus on U.S. congressional elections. In addition, Dr. Eaves is committed to fostering political and civic engagement efforts on campus.
